“Canada’s Drag Race” Drive-In Tour kicks off in Calgary

Times have changed in 2020, and while the pandemic has affected nearly everyone and everything, it hasn’t been able to put a stop the art of Drag! At least, not entirely, with Drag shows still taking place all over the country in public parks, campgrounds, bar patios and – most recently – drive-ins!

That’s right! Thousands of Canadians are literally starting their engines and racing to see their favourite Drag Queens turn the socially-distanced party at the good ol’ drive-in!

The first leg of “Canada’s Drag Race” Live At The Drive-In Tour (Presented by World Of Wonder and Voss Events) got off to a roaring start in Calgary, Alberta over the weekend! Live performances and candid backstage moments featuring the hit TV show’s host Brooke Lynn Hytes, contestants Anastarzia “Starzy” Anaquaway, Ilona Verley, BOA, Scarlett Bobo, Rita Baga, and Season One winner, Priyanka circulated all over social media before and after each show.

The high-energy Drive N’ Drag tour looks like outrageous fun and several upcoming dates in Montréal, Toronto and Ottawa are scheduled over the next few weeks with even more “Canada’s Drag Race” Queens hitting the stage, including Tynomi Banks, Lemon, Kyne, Kiara, and Juice Boxx!
