About Mojo Toronto
MoJo Toronto is a local production and event company known to present some of the most inclusive parties in the city! Founded in 2011 by business and life partners Monty Tayara & Joey Viola, MoJo Toronto collaborates with, employs, and even debuted several members/performers of the LGBTQ+ community, including but not limited to our “MoJo Queens” – Scarlett BoBo, Boa, Helena Poison, Juice Boxx, Barbie Jo Bontemps, Enya Dreams, Sapphire Tithi Reign, Devine Darlin’ and Jada Hudson.
Finding and supporting local and community talent is one of our main objectives when it comes to our popular weekly dance parties (“FML Mondays” at Flash Nightclub plus “As If” and “Flexx Fridays” at The Drink), as well as other special events, like charity fundraisers, wedding receptions and viewing parties. In the summer of 2017, MoJo Toronto was presented with the “LGBTQ+ Positive Business of the Year” award at the annual “Inspire Awards” presented by PinkPlayMedia at the University of Toronto, and over the years, presented big name talents like Willam, Cazwell, Shangela, Alyssa Edwards, Pandora Boxx, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Casandra Moore, Jiggly Caliente, Gia Gun, Roxxxy Andrews, Kitty Glitter, Massari and Anjulie! Some of them for the first time in Toronto! Other celebrities have been seen enjoying our events like Noah Cyrus, Detox, Sharon Needles, Thorgy Thor and Tony + GLAAD Award-winning actor, Alan Cummings! Moving into our tenth year, MoJo Toronto has the eye, experience, and professionalism to bring you closer to the action!
Our new website will present exciting new features like blogs, photo galleries and MOJO merch! For the community, by the community! “There Ain’t No Party Like a MOJO Party!”
